DICOMScope3.6 cannot be installed on Windows 7

Running dswin360.exe produces following error:

Setup is unable to find installation languages in C:\Users\Igor\AppData\Local\Temp\dswin360\SETUP.LID file.

Error 105
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------


Finding some (rogue) setup.lid file and placing into extracted directory allowed the setup to continue one more step, but then it existed with no error message.

Tried different windows compatibility options -- no change.

Is there a workaround?
Is self extracting archive (i.e. not InstallShield mess) available?

Try reinstall win7. This is not best solution but it helped me )
