Which ethernet card will DCMTK use

Her is my problem: I have two network cards installed on my computer, so we I establish any connection, which one will be used? Or Can I specify one to DCMTK?

The service class provider are binded to address 0.0.0.0 which means the service is running on all cards in your system.

Support for selecting particular network adapters (ethernet cards) is on our to-do list for a while. However, priority is not that high.

Hi,

has there been progress on this topic?

I have a customer with 2 cards, one on a 100 base T lan, the other on a 1 Gb lan and we'd like to force dcmtk to use the 1 Gb card but we can't yet.

If nothing has been done, where should I be looking at making changes?

This feature request is still listed on our to-do list (as Feature #305). Priority is still "low" because there are many other issues that we regard as being more important.
