Hi,
Anyone any experience with dcmtk running as a service?
I created a service called 'storescp' with type REG_SZ and data C:\apps\temp\IN\storescp.exe 104 -fe ".dcm" -ss in
When I send some dicom, I don 't get any error messages but neither do I see some images in C:\apps\temp\IN directory...
Anyone an idea?
Regards,
Jan

This seems to works fine, at least if I send locally: when I send (using Filesender, MIRC) from localhost it works always fine...J?rg Riesmeier wrote:Did you already try to explicitly specify the output directory (using option --output-directory)?
When I send from another host it only works after restarting the service, when it fails I don't get any error messages (it acts like it worked, but no images are received).
Regards,
Jan

Let NSSM - the Non-Sucking Service Manager do this for you.
See https://nssm.cc/commands and my posting here.

Just want to second that, nssm is super simple and is great for making any executable a Windows service.
