FAQ #28: Compilation of DCMTK fails with error C2679 [MSVC 6]

I am compiling DCMTK with Visual C++ 6.0 and compilation fails with error C2679 complaining about operator '<<':

error C2679: binary '<<' : no operator defined which takes a right-hand 
operand of type 'class DcmTagKey' (or there is no acceptable conversion)

This is a bug in Visual C++ 6.0. Install the latest service pack for Visual C++, and the error will be gone.
