debug() Definiton

Hello,
I am trying to figure out how to make use of debug() features (used widely in dcfilefo.cxx), but do not find neither such a function, nor such a macro definition. Where can I look at the definition?

The debug() macro is defined in "dcmdata/include/dcdebug.h".

Anyway, most of of the debug() messages currently used in the toolkit are not really helpful. We intend to remove them sometime ...
