Wat is the syntax of sending taqs with SQ format in DCMTK

Hi
I am using DCMTK tool kit . So i want to send a particular tag 0040,00270="" .Its value is of SQ type(Sequence)

So what is the format of sending SQ data items.

like ./findscu -k 0010,0010="Name" -k 0010,0020="237" -k 0040,00270=" ???????????? ?? "

what is the seperator between two sequence values....

From the "findscu" manual:

It is not possible to replace or insert attributes within sequences using the -k option.

You should use the query file (optional third parameter of "findscu") instead. See also this thread.

Thank you for your reply.It was quite useful.As u told I have created a query.dcm file. Is there any way to update query.dcm file with tag values present in it.Is there any code avilable in DCMTk to update tag values for each tag in a .dcm file

Take a look at the dcmodify command line tool in dcmdata/apps. This might be the application you are looking for.
