Select a Patients between two Values

I have a doubt! If i want to search a patient for example using date of birth, and I want to look for all the patient that have born between 19820101 and 20000101, How I have to do? To specified That I want to see al the patients between this dates, I know how to search the patients that have born in a spefic day using putString, but if want between a period how Can I do?
