Printing on FUJI DRYPIX 4000 USING dcmtk

Who can help us to improve the quality of printing.

Well firstly let me express my deepest gratitude to you as you have solved my printing problem . Now there are a couple of issues that I need to deal with...

1> I use the following command to directly spool the print job with dcmpsprt .... the command is as follows..

G:\DICOM_ALL\dcmtk-3.5.4-win32-i386\bin>dcmpsprt -c dcmpstat.cfg -p DRYPIX4000 -
s --portrait --request-crop --img-magnification "CUBIC" --img-request-size "180"
--filmsize "8INX10IN" brain_005.dcm

the error given...

warning: unable to spool print job to printer 'DRYPIX4000', ignoring.
warning: unable to stop print spooler, ignoring.


2> When I run dcmpsprt and dcmprscu I got the print out but the Image printed on film was too light hardly visible whilst I see it in the Dicomscope as a brighter one and normal. The Commands i used in succession were...


G:\DICOM_ALL\dcmtk-3.5.4-win32-i386\bin>dcmpsprt -c dcmpstat.cfg -p DRYPIX4000
--portrait --request-crop --img-magnification "CUBIC" --img-request-size "180" -
-filmsize "8INX10IN" --resolution "1200dpi" --img-smoothing "SMOOTH" brain_0
05.dcm

...this command generated the files ... SP_4c9063dcbcff63ba.dcm ,

Then I run dcmprscu….

G:\DICOM_ALL\dcmtk-3.5.4-win32-i386\bin>dcmprscu -v -c dcmpstat.cfg --printer DR
YPIX4000 G:\DICOM_ALL\dcmtk-3.5.4-win32-i386\bin\database\SP_4c9063dcbcff63ba.dcm

The output was ….

Now the printed image is of poor quality. Please help me improve the print quality. Also please let me know if I need to use any additional options in order to improve in print quality.
