Problem with dcmprscu

#1 Post by jerzy_cz »

Hello, I'm trying to connect to Dicom printer emulator using dcmprscu. I always get an error "unable to create basic film box." What is wrong?

I would guess that you have discovered a bug in the "printer emulator", which is obviously unable to generate a SOP instance UID upon N-CREATE, which is a required feature for a Print SCP.

Hi all!

Code: Select all

spooler: printer communication failed, unable to create basic film box.
spooler: release of connection to printer failed.
0006:0317 Peer aborted Association (or never connected)
error: spooling of file 'database\SP_47205584d97d91a2.dcm' failed.
Bug in the virtual printer ...

Well, i am not sure, but i guess I had the same error message using a FUJI DRYPIX3000 . I have to check it out again. I will do it soon, by the moment the power supply of our DICOM printer died .
LooL. Wasn't my fault !

Regards,

Nicolas
