database does not exist

#1 Post by dcherryholmes »

I had been using dmcqrti to look at studies just fine like this:

dcmqrti -c /etc/dcmtk/dcmqrscp.cfg impetus

Now, when I try to run the command I get the following output:

DcmQueryRetrieve: Warning: db does not exist: impetus
ti: no accessable databases.

Here are the lines from /etc/dcmtk/dcmqrscp.cfg:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

# Uncomment and adjust the following lines for a common r/rw storage area:
#READWRITE /var/lib/dcmtk/db/READWRITE RW (10, 1024mb) ANY
#READ /var/lib/dcmtk/db/READ R (200, 1024mb) ANY
impetus /archive/dicom_db RW (10, 1024mb) ANY

#

AETable END

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's the output from ls:

drwxrwxrwx 3 dcmtk dcmtk 88 2007-01-08 12:28 dicom_db

Any ideas what has gone wrong?

database path

#2 Post by guillaaame »

Hi,

Try to remove the underscore from the impetus's database path (like this : impetus /archive/dicomdb RW (10, 1024mb) ANY)...and it should be ok.

Regards

Thanks for the reply. It turns out that I had deleted the index.dat file. Once I sent another study via dcmqrscp a new index.dat file was generated and things began working again.
