store SCP delay in acknowledgement!

Hello,

When I run the storeSCP application, and I try sending an echo message or study transfer to the machine running storeSCP as the server, it always takes about 5 seconds before storeSCP begins responding.

If I run this application on a single processor machine, there is no delay, the echo request is acknowledged immediately.

On my dual processor machine, it takes about 5 seconds before acknowledgement.

It seems that the application is just waiting on this function for those 5 seconds:

ASC_receiveAssociation()

I am testing this on my LAN so there shouldn't be any significant delay really in theory.

Any idea what's going on here?
