Parameters to use with TI Application

#1 Post by dhaval »

Hi
I am using the ti application to Q/R Dicom Images from another computer.
For eg. Computer A is running imagectn on port 10000
and Computer B is where i am running the ti application.
In imagectn.cfg for computer b i have made the following changes
--------------------------
HostTable BEGIN

acme1 = (ACME1, IP add of Compter A, 10001)
acme2 = (ACME2, IP add of Compter A, 10001)
acmeCTcompany = acme1, acme2

HostTable END
------------------------
Rest of the file remains the same..
On the command line i give
./ti -c /path to imagectn.cfg -aet ACME1 -ret ACME1 acmeCTcompany.

The problem is it still queires the Database ACME_STORE in computer B rather than Computer A, which i odd because the ip address is that of computer A
Am i doing it correct... Also are images transfeered from B-A or the other way around in TI application..
Any suggestions/help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dhaval

By default the "ti" (telnet initiator) tool expects to be running on the same system as the imagectn, and it directly accesses the imagectn database (i.e., the index.dat file and the various DICOM files), providing an alternative access to the imagectn database that can be used to initiate C-STORE operations to remote systems that do not support Query/Retrieve. There is an option in ti that allows to connect to a remote Q/R SCP, but you have to use the --remote command line option for this.
