DCMTK with Borland C++ Builder 6

#1 Post by Mercusyo »

Hello,

I would like to compile DCMTK with Borland C++ Builder 2006. I read the last comments to this subject. So, I would like to know how to compile DCMTK with Borland.

Is it possible ? Somebody know's the procedure ?

I am working with CMake 2.8.6 and DCMTK 3.6.0.

I generated the Borland Makefile successfully by deactivating openssl, libpng, libtiff, libxml and zlib. Then, I don't know what to do anymore.

Thanks a lot,

Basically, it should be possible to use this compiler, but as you can read in the INSTALL file, it is not officially supported (i.e. has not been tested for the release 3.6.0).
If anybody tells us what to change in order to support this compiler, we would be happy to incorporate the required modifications into the DCMTK.

Thank you for your reply.
Is it possible to migrate an application developed in Visual Studio 2006 to Borland C++ Builder 2006 ?
Regards,
