How can I preview the effect if I add a p-lut with print?

I can get the effect by adding a presentation lut when I print , but I can not preview the effect in my software if I use a presentation lut because I don't know how it works.
So I want to preview the effect if I add a presentation lut when I print ,how can I do?

And, where exactly comes DCMTK or DICOMscope into play? Are you talking about the print preview in DICOMscope?
