Dear DCMTK community,
I've been assigned the task to write a DICOM client (to become part of a medical image processing software) using Microsoft Visual Studio.
In a nutshell, this client is supposed to be able to connect to an existing DICOM server, show available DICOM files on the server, and retrieve those DICOM files that the user selects.
As I'm pretty sure that this is quite a standard usage model, I am now looking for an existing open-source project implementing similar functionality, so that I can move up the learning curve more quickly.
Thanks for your help and comments.
Michael

So you need a Query/Retrieve SCU, right?

on the DICOM side, yes. But I was hoping that there's also something out there that additionally has a GUI.J. Riesmeier wrote:So you need a Query/Retrieve SCU, right?

Sure, but then you are wrong here, because this discussion forum is about the DICOM toolkit DCMTK (which has no GUI).
