I'll preface this with, I'm a newbie programer. I'm cool with VB.net, and some C+... (learning)
I wasn't expecting for the DCMTK to work perfectly under VS2005 and so I wasn't completely suprised when I ran into issues, but, has anyone gotten it to complie completely?
I got passed all my link errors and now I'm getting those annoying Can't convert from Const Char * to Char * errors, and I fix one, and theres more, etc. etc...
Anyone not have this issue? Should I erase and start over?
Thanks for any help you can give.
Stephen
PS Anyone want to make me happy by telling me they have a DLL wrapper for all this?

DCMTK 3.5.3 (which was published in 2004, long before VS 2005 became available) does not compile with VS 2005 without a few minor changes, such as the const problem you mention. These should be easy to fix for any decent C++ programmer, so take it as a challenge
The next release DCMTK 3.5.4 that our team will try to publish before the end of the year will compile with VS 2005 "out of the box".
