findscu CLI format

Hi,

I am trying to query the PACS archive and on STUDY level the query is not returning the MODALITY. I also checked in the DicomDump of the images that the modality is defined in (0008,0060) tag but cannot be accessed via the following query.

Pl ease let me know how can I retrieve the modality information (0008, 0060).

The short answer is: the attribute Modality (0008,0060) belongs to the SERIES level. See annex C of DICOM part 4 for details.
