#1 Post by Robert Mauro Lang »

Hi!!

I need to copy all dicom images from an (windows) efilm workstation
into a (linux) localhost folder using dicom network.

How I can do it, using movescu???

I need write a configurantion file or use other tools for this?

Thanks in advance.

What you need is a script that uses findscu to determine the list of patients (and/or studies) on your workstation and then issues calls to movescu for each patient or study that initiate the move (depending on the Q/R models supported by eFilm, which I am not aware of). The most simple approach would be to issue a C-FIND-RQ on Study Root level simply requesting a list of all Study Instance UIDs, followed by a separate call to movescu for each Study Instance UID, initiating a move of that study. This should be fairly easy to write in any decent scripting language (Perl comes to mind).

eFilm also has the ability to transfer images towards any STORE-SCP,
I guess you should run a STORE-SCP on the linux machine, then add
this new server on eFilm and use the SEND option on the LOCAL STUDIES
folder, may be this could be easier than using movescu!

Probably the easiest way to transfer all the images would be a file copy/move. AFAIK, eFilm stores the Images as DICOM Part 10 files to a configurable path.
